The spirit of freedom and community will be on full display this June as Topeka Family and Friends hosts its annual Juneteenth Celebration Parade and Car Show on Saturday, June 14!

This year’s celebration promises to be bigger and better, with the return of the much-loved car show, which will take place immediately following the parade. The parade will feature a diverse lineup of participants, including local businesses, organizations, school groups, bands, summer camps, churches, and families. Everyone is encouraged to join the Juneteenth caravan, showcasing the strength and unity of the Topeka community.

Organizers are calling on all community members to take part in the festivities. Whether you’re marching, riding, or cheering from the sidelines, your presence helps honor the legacy of Juneteenth and celebrate the ongoing journey toward equality and justice
