McDonald’s of Northeast Kansas, Oklahoma, and Northern Texas is kicking off Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) 50th Anniversary during the luck of the Irish season with a Shamrock Shake® and OREO® Shamrock McFlurry® fundraiser. To help celebrate the golden anniversary, local McDonald’s restaurants will donate 25 cents from every Shamrock Shake® and OREO® Shamrock McFlurry® sold. All funds raised during this time will be distributed to all three Ronald McDonald Houses of Northeast Kansas, Wichita, and Oklahoma City.
Funds from the shake have always been donated towards RMHC’s mission to provide access to medical care, a home away from home, and a community of support for seriously ill or injured children and their families at no cost.
“Our local McDonald’s owners, managers and crew members love celebrating the return of Shamrock Shake because this is a time where we can educate our community on RMHC’s mission to help families with ill children in need of care,” said Joe Lane, McDonald’s of the Southern Plains, President and local McDonald’s owner and operator. “We are honored to continue this yearly tradition to show our commitment to RMHC and we look forward to keeping this tradition going!”

· The OREO® Shamrock McFlurry® – creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with McDonald’s original Shamrock Shake® syrup and OREO® cookie pieces mixed throughout. Available in Regular Size and Snack Size.
