Grape Escape RESCHEDULED

To achieve the best quality event for their guests, Topeka Performing Arts Center has decided to postpone Gape Escape to a later date. The event, originally scheduled for September 14, 2019, will honor all previously purchased tickets for the new date of October 18, 2019. For questions about previously purchased tickets, contact the box office at TPAC.

Mechanical failures in the lower level function rooms of the Topeka Performing Arts Center (TPAC) caused an unforeseen circumstance and rendered the spaces temporarily unavailable.

Grape Escape Meets Hazel Hill Chocolate is TPAC’s annual premier food, and wine tasting festival. Guests will sample wine, bourbon & beer from leading vendors, while tasting delicious hors d’ oeuvres and chocolate throughout the evening. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items. A new feature this year is the addition of a gaming midway with a chance to win fabulous prizes and gifts.

All of the proceeds benefit TPAC’s outreach programs.  “That should be the primary reason to go,” said Larry Gawronski, executive director at Topeka Performing Arts Center. “But, I also think people should go because of the great silent and live auction items while enjoying fellowship with spirits, food, games and chocolate. Every time you come to TPAC, we hope you leave feeling GREAT EVENT. LIFETIME EXPERIENCE.” Tickets prices range from $35 to $150.

Grape Escape is made possible by corporate sponsorship and local community business partners who support TPAC’s mission of fostering the performing arts through excellence in programming. The end result is raising quality of life and cultural excellence. TPAC is dedicated to making youth arts education accessible for children grades K-12. Grape Escape Meets Hazel Hill Chocolate is TPAC’s leading fundraiser for this purpose.
