If you haven’t heard yet, The Topeka Zoo has a couple of new guests living there. Konza the giraffe was born in July and Liz the Giraffe was born a couple of weeks ago. Now it is time to celebrate the birthdays with a party that will help out a couple of causes.

Tomorrow night from 5:30 PM till 7:30 PM , the zoo will host a “cookie party”, complete with a free giraffe cookie from Aunt T’s Sweet Creations. The event is a fundraiser to support enhancements to the giraffe habitat at the Zoo.

Admission to the event is a $5.00 donation or a package of diapers for two admissions. All diapers collected that evening will go to Community Action, Inc’s Diaper Depot which distributes diapers to low-income families in Shawnee County.
