The Top Phrases That Make You Roll Your Eyes When You Get An Email

Everyday, we come to work and the first thing you do is check your emails. It is almost part of everyone’s job and sometimes it can drive us crazy. Not by what the subject matter is, but by what phrases co-workers use in the email.

Adobe conducted a survey and asked what was the most annoying phrase people use via email at work. Almost 25% of the people asked that said “Not sure if you saw my last email” was the most annoying.

Coming in second was “per my last email” and third was “per our conversation”

As a person who works in the communication business, showing emotions thru an email is not the easiest thing to do. Which is why emoji’s are my best friend.

Consider the list of annoying phrases as a helpful way to not get yourself in the doghouse at work today.  And please don’t ask me in an email “Any updates on this”.
