Maggie

Maggie is one of those people who fell in love with radio the old-fashioned way: through a bedroom stereo and way too many hours on the road across Kansas. Growing up in Southwest Kansas, she was raised on a steady mix of NPR, local stations, and her parents’ music tastes. She headed to Washburn University with dreams of becoming a doctor—until a single semester of chemistry convinced her otherwise. Radio had always been the dream anyway—and luckily, it didn’t require organic chemistry.

Maggie got her start behind the scenes running the board for high school football and basketball broadcasts.

These days, Maggie brings her love of music, storytelling and good vibes to the weekend lineup. When she’s not on air, you’ll find her napping, taking care of her plants, listening to music, or hanging out with her boyfriend, friends, and two flame point Siamese cats, who are all very opinionated about her playlists.

Tune in Sundays from 10 to 1—or whenever she’s filling in—for a little wit, a lot of warmth, and great music with Maggie.
