Kelcy Hammer is a 2nd grade teacher at Rossville Grade School and is the April Crystal Apple Winner!
Here’s what her nominator had to say:
Her patience with ALL her students doesn’t go unnoticed. She is the most deserving of this award. Each year she sees achievements with her students. My daughter says, “Mrs. Hammer is really good at explaining things to me so I know what to do. She does fun games that includes what we do in math, and when we win, she will give us one or two dojo points (points the class can spend on rewards). I spent my dojo points on Fun in the Sun, which means going to the park. Mrs Hammer has given me 283 dojo points! She should win this award because she is a very good teacher and she helps students learn more.”
