Wendy is a 7th Grade Teacher at Liberty Memorial Central Middle School in Lawrence, Kansas and was nominated by Lysette DeBoard.

I love my students! I want to be here with them in the classroom and I am grateful every day when they walk through my door and we get to be together in person.
Each month, we select one educator to honor on-air and online. Monthly winners will receive an overnight stay at Prairie Band Casino & Resort, dinner, free plays, and more.
