This summer, Topeka Civic Theatre is turning up the drama—and the laughs—with its vibrant production of Mean Girls: High School Version, running from July 25 to August 10, 2025 at the Helen Hocker Theater. Adapted from Tina Fey’s iconic 2004 film, this musical brings the familiar story of high school hierarchy, friendship, and self-discovery to life with a fresh, youthful energy that’s perfect for the stage—and for Topeka.
This marks the first time Topeka Civic Theatre or Helen Hocker Theater has produced the High School Version of Mean Girls, making it a landmark production for the local arts scene.
Directed by Joanna Lassley, with music direction by Andy Huff and choreography by Sally Glassman, the show features a talented cast of young performers, many of whom are making their TCT debuts.
