Spirit of Kansas Returns to Lake Shawnee

The Spirit of Kansas Festival is an old‑fashioned 4th of July celebration held at Lake Shawnee. The celebration begins at 11am with food trucks, arts and craft vendors, car show, blues festival, and a water‑ski show. The festival ends with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the sky at 10pm.

Majic 107.7 will again provide the soundtrack to this year’s fireworks show!

The Water ski show will be on the boat ramp near 29th and Croco from 6:30-7:45pm. Best viewing will be from the north shore of Tinman Circle. Enter park off Croco and East Edge Road (south of 29th & Croco).

Car Show registration is $20 and starts at 8am at Shelters 4 & 5 west of Reynolds Lodge. Show begins at 9am and awards will be handed out around 2:30pm.

Find food trucks and craft vendors from 11am-approx 7:30pm

ATTENDEES MAY BRING:

Shade Tents (designated area), Lawn Chairs / Blankets, Coolers / Food
