Topeka Principal Earns Crystal Apple Award To Conclude Summer Vacation

WOW! The 2022-2023 school is approaching quickly, but before we get into buying school supplies and filling out orientation papers we wanted to salute our Crystal Apple Award Winner for the month of July to conclude our summer vacation!

Principal Aryn McCoy of Capital City High School is representing the month of July for her accomplishments not just to her faculty, but her student body as well. When she’s not being a role model she is also a strong leader who is always ready to lend a helping hand when needed.

Aryn was nominated by Amelia Hawley-Morris and here’s what she had to say about Principal McCoy was a no brainer on why we selected her.

I believe Aaron Mccoy deserves the crystal apple award. She is the principal at Capital city school. The reason I think she deserves this award is because she is not just the principal, she also acts as a caretaker for her students during the school day. She listens to concerns or worries each student may have and considers each student as her own. She is very trustworthy and understanding. Mrs. Mccoy is amazing and I would love more people to know how empowering she is.

For Principal McCoy’s contribution to Capital City High School, she will receive the following:

Also, Capital City High School is now in the running for a $1,000 donation which will be given away in January 2023.

If you know a teacher, office worker, administrator, or coach who deserves the Crystal Apple Award, please contact us by email at [email protected].
