A Jackson Heights Elementary Teacher Is Our Latest Crystal Apple Winner

Teachers this month have been preparing to go back to school. That could be in a real classroom, or a virtual one. Wherever they may be teaching, it will always be greatly appreciated. That is exactly what this months winner is receiving from a parent.

This months latest Crystal Apple winner is Mrs. Diane Keeler. She is a 6th grade elementary teacher at Jackson Heights Elementary School in Holton. Here is what her nominee had to say:

I am nominating Mrs.Keeler because she loves her job as a teacher and she’s very good at it. She works very hard to make every student ready as possible for the grade ahead. She also keeps a place in her heart for every student. Even all the parents/ guardians have a special bond with Mrs.Keeler. When the COVID-19 hit Mrs. Keeler dedicated most of her time to helping every student continue learning. That is why I think Mrs. Keeler deserves this award!!

Diane will receive a Prairie Band Casino and Resort prize package. Also, Jackson Heights Elementary will be in the running to win a $1,000 donation and Diane could also receive more Prairie Band goodies.
