There’s only one thing better than pizza… and it’s pizza and beer.
Pizza Hut announced yesterday that it will deliver a cold brewski with it’s pizza in 100 stores across California and Arizona. They’re teaming up with MillerCoors, so the beer selection is limited to six packs of Coors Light, Blue Moon and Miller High Life. The delivery people will use custom coolers designed to keep the beverages cold.
Pizza Hut CMO Zipporah Allen said in a statement:
“Nothing complements an oven-hot pizza like an ice-cold beer. In addition to our extensive delivery network, many Pizza Hut restaurants are already licensed to serve and distribute beer, without third party services, additional fees, or extended wait times. Expanding the pilot program is a natural way for Pizza Hut to get our customers the perfect pizza and beer combo they’re craving, delivered right to their doors.”
Making it even better, the delivery fee will be waived if you’re including the barley pop in an online order. Qualifying orders must meet delivery minimum requirements and be placed through PizzaHut.com, or the Pizza Hut Mobile App. Beer delivery with your food isn’t new for Arizona or California… Both states have allowed restaurants in certain cities to do it for some time.
