The Miracle on Kansas Avenue parade is back and better than ever! Saturday, November 25th join us on Kansas Ave for Topeka’s annual light parade! The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm and at 6:00 pm join the hundreds of parade entries to ring in the holiday season.

Even before that, the Topeka Rescue Run will be kicking off at 5:00pm and runners (or walkers) can choose to do 1 (1.5 miles) or 2 laps (a full 5k). Proceeds go towards the Topeka Rescue Misson (TRM). TRM is dedicated to providing food, shelter, clothing, training and hope to homeless and impoverished men, women and children. In just 2016 alone, they have housed thousands of people, made hundreds of thousands of meals, and spread Christmas cheer to over 2000 children with baskets on Christmas.
